The vehicle I rented was a Brand New Saturn Outlook (I think that was the name), with all the options. It only had 275 miles on it. I had it for 3.5 days, drove over 1,000 miles, and I paid $82.00.
They were geat. I highly reccomend them.Which are the best car rental companies: Alamo, Avis, Budget, Hertz, National, or Thrifty?
They are all reliable car companies. To get the best price call a travel agent. They can pull up on their computers all the car companies that you requested at one time and get the prices for you. If you decide on one, an agent can ';book'; it for you. You do not pay the travel agent for their services. They do it for free. Most car companies require drivers be 21 yrs or older, and have a major credit card . You are not charged for the car ahead of time (in most cases), you are only reserving your car and you will have to show them your drivers license and credit card used to make the reservation at the car rental counter. The Rental car companies will give you a confirmation number if you book through them directly, or you can have the travel agent give it to you, although they can also pull up your reservation by your last name if you forget to take the number with you. Car rental companies will try to sell you ';insurance'; at the counter, it is up to you to take it or not. Sometimes you can get car upgrades also. If you belong to the ';Auto Club'; AAA, Hertz offers 10% discount to Auto Club members. You can also get coupons from them for free rental days or upgrades of the car type, or dollars off the rental.Which are the best car rental companies: Alamo, Avis, Budget, Hertz, National, or Thrifty?
