This is my first time renting a car in a snow area. I'm going to rent a car in Vermont with Enterprise and driving it to Quebec next week. Do they automatically come with winter tires now that we are approaching winter, or is that something that has to be requested?Do the car rentals in the New England area come equipped with winter tires?

No, its usally a little to early for lots of snow in new england. At most its a dusting.
