I need to hold $530 on a credit card for a car rental, the limit is $300 and $50 is avail., can it be done?

A hold is as good as freezing your available credit to that amount. Not possible in your case. You need to have $350 in available credit. I concur with the first answer, ask for a credit limit increase and see how much you get.I need to hold $530 on a credit card for a car rental, the limit is $300 and $50 is avail., can it be done?
It actually might if you want to pay the overdraft fee. I've charged my credit card and maxed it out by buying gas. Go to quickcreditcardapproval.com to get a new cardI need to hold $530 on a credit card for a car rental, the limit is $300 and $50 is avail., can it be done?
Credit Limit of $300.00, available credit $50.00 ? Credit Limit is 300.00, not 530.00, and you only have available credit of $50.00. You already know the answer to this one. You just want a miracle.
No. You need to call the credit card company and ask for an increase in your limit. If you were to attempt to do it on the 300 limit, the penalities would be expensive and you would have a black mark on your credit report.
Simple math... NO...

Pay the card off and call around until you find someone that only requires $300 available balance... Or (here's a REALLY novel concept) fix your credit so someone is willing to trust you with a $600 limit card! Or... get a collateralized card where YOU set the limit!!!
