To my knowledge (I'm a frequent traveler and I rent from both Budget and Alamo - they both pretty much have the same rates), no rental car agency offer any kind of discounted rate for emergency services such as what you listed. However, if you get a really good and sympathetic customer service rep on the phone at the time of booking your car reservation, he/she may offer additional discounts to the reservation. This has happened to me on a few occasions. Bottomline, these rental car companies are greedy.
Like the rental companies give a damn why you want to rent a car? Wating to go to a relatives funeral ranks as high to them as wanting to go to the beach or take a chick to the drive-in and grope her in the dark.





They don't care WHY you want the car. Sometimes you will find they have ';standby rates'; but that is usually for waiting to see if they have any cars left over that aren't booked out already.





If you are in a hurry, you pay the same rates as everyone else.
