If you're talking about spam, learn about spam filters in your email program.
As for 'pranksters' who send stupid emails, the best thing you can do is to just delete and move on. Why go through so much anger and work just to foil a few pranksters? Delete them and move on with life.

Has anyone booked car rental through hotwire.com?
Their deals are unbelievable - half of what the car rental place charges. Let me know if you got what you paid for. If there are any hidden cost once you actually go and pick up the car.Has anyone booked car rental through hotwire.com?
I haven't but I've heard good things about it. The hidden costs are the taxes. That's where they get you.web development

Car Rental Suggestions? I need help, please?
I am trying to find a car rental service that will rent a car to an 18 year old. I live in Wilmington, NC and I desperately need to find a rental car by April 9th. I understand most car rentals don't rent to anyone under the age of 25 so don't bash on me about that. Car rental services are so unthoughtful for age. I think they need to have a minimum age of 16. Sometimes younger people need rental cars. It's just a fact of life. Please help!Car Rental Suggestions? I need help, please?
Not going to happen. The youngest any agency allows is 21. The age requirements are not negotiable %26amp; no waiver is available.
An 18 year old soldier in the US Army asked a similar question on here %26amp; the answer was the same for him. At 18 he can die for his country, but can't rent a car.Car Rental Suggestions? I need help, please?
The age is set by the rental car agency insurance company. As you can image they would have very high insurance rates. The risk is much lower with someone 25 or older. You might want to try renting from local vendors that are only local. Forget the big companies like Hertz, Enterprise, Dollar, etc.
I looked up a few in your area on Google Maps:
U Drive-It Co
Wilmington, NC 28401
(910) 763-5404鈥?br>
Atlantic Auto Rental %26amp; Sales
4614 N College Rd
Castle Hayne, NC 28429
(910) 675-2200鈥?br>
I included some links where you might find some answers.
Good luck!

How do car rentals around niagara falls work between the US and Canada?
we are planning to travel to Toronto-Niagara-NY. Were wondering if renting 1 car from Toronto and leaving it in NY is the best thing to do? and is that allowed? How do car rentals around niagara falls work between the US and Canada?
I'm not sure if you can rent a Canadian car and leave it stateside - there are different vehicle regulations in both countries.
However, most rental companies shouldn't have a problem with you taking their car(s) across the border. Best to check prior to doing so, to make sure the car(s) are insured and suitable for cross-border travel. How do car rentals around niagara falls work between the US and Canada?
sure, i did it using Hertz
of course try Avis, Alamo, dollar, enterprise it's Canada and US not Iraq and Mexico!!

Car rental agency A will rent a compact car for $35 per day and an additional charge of $0.24 per mile.
Car rental agency B will charge only $0.16 per mile but charges $41 per day. If Adam wanted to rent a car for three days, how many miles would Adam have to drive to make car rental agency B a better bargain? Car rental agency A will rent a compact car for $35 per day and an additional charge of $0.24 per mile.
x = miles.
Agency A: 35(3) + 0.24x
Agency B: 41(3) + 0.16x
You want B to be cheaper, so
B %26lt; A
41(3) + 0.16x %26lt; 35(3) + 0.24x
123 + 0.16x %26lt; 105 + 0.24x
123 - 105 + 0.16x %26lt; 0.24x
18 + 0.16x %26lt; 0.24x
18 %26lt; 0.24x - 0.16x
18 %26lt; 0.08x
18(100) %26lt; (0.08)(100)x
1800 %26lt; 8x
1800 / 8 %26lt; x
225 %26lt; x
So, he needs to drive more than 225 miles to make B the better deal.Car rental agency A will rent a compact car for $35 per day and an additional charge of $0.24 per mile.
Rent a car that has unlimited miles, then you wont have to worry about it...besides, if you drive more than you have to just to make it worth while, you are paying for more fuel therefore your not getting any advantage.
The break-even point is the point at which
.16M + 3*41 = .24M + 3*35
.08M = 3*(41 - 35) = 18
M = 18/.08 = 225
A is cheaper at fewer than 225 miles
B is cheaper at more than 225 miles
Both cost $159 for exactly 225 miles.

Car rental insurance?
I am travelling to Phoenix and Sedona with my family next year (from Europe). I am now requesting quotes from major rental companies but I am hopeless when it comes to tick the boxes for insurances etc. Can you advise me on the good average coverage to choose ? And have you had a good experience with one of the companies? any of them you recommend? many thanksCar rental insurance?
Unless your personal auto insurance covers rental cars, I's a good idea to get all of the insurance from the rental company, including the ';Collision Damage Waiver';, which usually covers the ';first $3000.00 of damage'; This is from first-hand experience; I damaged a rental car once. If I had not purchased the C.D.W., I would have had to pay the $3000 out of my own pocket (actually, it gets charged to your credit card).Car rental insurance?
Check with your credit card. Often if you pay with their card, they will cover the CDW (collition damage waver). What CDW is if your car get in to an minor accident, it pays for YOUR rental (after certain deductable).

Where can I find dealership/car rental place that rents Hummer H2 in Minnesota? Not the limo one either.?
The thing is, i'm over in Afghanistan at the moment. I'm coming home in Sept. for a friends wedding. I'm looking for a Hummer H2 or some sort of Exotic car to rent for a week. Most car rental places have lame cars. Can some one help me out?Where can I find dealership/car rental place that rents Hummer H2 in Minnesota? Not the limo one either.?
You can rent a Hummer H2 or H3 through Hertz (www.hertz.com). I've just checked their website. You didn't mention your location in Minnesota so I just put in Minneapolis. It's going to run you anywhere from about $100 - $200/day depending upon a variety of factors, including the day of the week you rent, whether or not you want unlimited mileage, etc.
I would imagine that you'd be able to access and rent Hertz's luxury line of vehicles (like the Hummer) in most major cities in Minnesota. So, even if you don't live in Minneapolis, you still might be able to make it happen.
Just go to Hertz's website and plug in the Hertz location that you'd like to rent from and then you'll know for sure.
Good luck! ... and thanks for serving there in Afghanistan.

What kinds of convertibles are available in car rentals?
I'm interested in knowing! Do they offer you nicer convertibles like the toyota solara or Eclipse convertibles? Or do they just offer the crappy ones....like Cavaliers and others like it?What kinds of convertibles are available in car rentals?
Very few Toyotas or Mistubishis are offered by the big rental companies.
You'll probably see plenty of Mustang, Sebring and Pontiac G6 convertibles available. What kinds of convertibles are available in car rentals?
It depends where you are. In Vegas you can rent anything your credit and security deposit will allow. If you go to Enterprise, expect the cheap route.

A car rental company has two rental rates.?
A car rental company has two rental rates. Rate 1 is $35 per day plus$0.16 per mile. Rate 2 is $50 a day plus $0.09 per mile. If you plan to rent for one week, how many miles would you need to drive to pay less by taking rate 2?';A car rental company has two rental rates.?
At 214 Miles per day you will pay 0.02 higher at rate plan 2. Thus mile mark 215 makes the rates become cheaper with rate plan 2 and the more miles you use the better the value becomes.
The exact break even point for the 2 plans is 214.2856 Miles per day. Thus anything under that miles per day go with rate plan 1, anything over go with rate plan 2.A car rental company has two rental rates.?
If you drive 93.75 miles at .16 - equals the $15.00 dollar difference between the 35 and 50 rate. Unless you drive over 166 miles for the 50.00 dollar rate (166x.09=14.94) it will pay to get the cheaper 35.00 a day rate.
Just go to Enterprise and get the one-week unlimited mileage rate.

Tips on car rental/driving in Baja?
I'm thinking about renting a car and taking a leisurely drive from Cabo San Lucas up to Mulege or Santa Rosalia in late March. Does anybody with experience driving/renting cars in that part of the world have any advice to offer?Tips on car rental/driving in Baja?
Hola! Yes, I have alot of experience driving the Baja. I would recommend making reservations with your favorite rental agency prior to coming. Most have kiosks by the airport now, so getting the car as you arrive at the airport is easy.
You can travel either way to La Paz - the pacific side or the sea of cortez side. Both are scenic and both have great little towns to visit. Then past La Paz is a nice little drive to Santa Rosalia and Mulege. There is so much to see and do in each town and Its hard to recommend things because I don't know what your interests are.
Keep in mind, rental cars have different licence tags, so the locals know you are a tourist. All the roads are maintained well by mexican standards. There is a government service called the 'green angels' which are guys in tow trucks that drive up and down the baja and help people who are having car trouble for free. You will usuallly see them as you are driving.
Use all your common sense and safety practices while driving in Mexico. I highly recommend NOT driving at night, or going off the beaten track on your own.
Here are some good websites to check out.Tips on car rental/driving in Baja?
Good luck . . .
Plan on making it a round trip or the drop off fees will kill you. It's a long drive on narrow 2 lane roads. The weather should be good but it will be very dry that far from the rainy season. Should be interesting
We rented a car through Dollar rental in San Jose Del Cabo in September 2005. We drove north to see the Hotel California. It is a barren drive for the most part, but it's fun nonetheless. I would definately recommend booking online, as you will save a ton of money. I think we rented a Jetta for about $40 a day. It's really easy to get around there, the only thing we had a slight problem with was parking in Cabo when we went to the market, but you will find that anywhere you go.web development

Florida orlando car rental ?
hi im planning to go to flordia, orlando pretty soon but i was wondering if anyone new how much it would be for me to rent a mustang over there. ill be 20 yrs old when i go to florida if tht would affect anything.
thanks Florida orlando car rental ?
well unfortunetly most car rental places don't rent to persons under 25 and if you are lucky enough you can find some willing to rent to ages 21 but you will pay a bit more.
and i'm not sure if any rental car companies allow rentals to people under 21.
you you will need to check out websites to see if any allow persons under 21 to rent. Florida orlando car rental ?
The only way to rent car at 20 is if you're a federal government employee or active duty military. You can also check to see if the company you work for has a corporate account with any car rental companies, where they have contracted a minimum age for their employees under 21.

Car rental liability insurance in Canada (Nova Scotia)?
I'm renting a car through Enterprise in Nova Scotia. My credit card covers any damage to my car, but does not offer third-party liability. I'm reading in some places that, in Canada, third-party liability is automatically included in rental rates due to government regulations. Still, I can't seem to find confirmation from Enterprise. I'm renting the car in the morning, so right now, I have no way to contact Enterprise. Does anybody know?Car rental liability insurance in Canada (Nova Scotia)?
I don't know about Nova Scotia, but in Manitoba there is an automatic $200,000 liability insurance on a rented car. It isn't much, but the $1 million I carry on my own vehicle carries over to any car I rent or borrow in Canada or the US. Check with your own insurer to see if your TPL goes with you. Also check to see if your insurer can sell you a non-owned vehicle policy for the term you have the rental.Car rental liability insurance in Canada (Nova Scotia)?

Is the extra insurance on car rentals really necessary?
I never opt for it (because I have full coverage on my own car), but then get nervous and regret it (even though nothing has ever happened). They seem to try to scare you into it. Does anyone REALLY know if it is needed? Is the extra insurance on car rentals really necessary?
1st of all to transfer your insuance to the rental your need to have the specific coverage for that. You need full coverage and an endorsement that is called OPCF27. This covers for physical damages only on the rental vehicle.
2nd If you transfer your insurance to the rental vehicle and damages araises then you are liable for those damages. You would need to put a claim thru your insurance which means that once a claim is put in your insurance rating/rate will increase.
3rd. Your best bet it to go with the rental company insurance. The reason is if you total that vehicle and you paid for the rental comp insurance, you just need to give them back the keys and they deal with everything. This will not affect your insurance what so ever.
Pay the extra 20$ per day that the rental company charges you wont regret it when something does happen. Is the extra insurance on car rentals really necessary?
You should check your personal coverage on your auto insurance to see if your coverage specifically extends to a rental car and to what extent you are covered.
If you have liability insurance you are covered, but only for liability. Liability insurance covers the renter and passengers but not the rental vehicle itself. Liability insurance covers you in whatever vehicle you drive, This includes personal coverage for you while you are in a rental car. Your insurance company will cover any damages you cause to anyone else (property and injury), up to the minimum legal limits required by law or the limits on your policy, if different.
What you want to check is to see if you are covered in any way for damage to the rental car itself. Talk to your insurance agent. The same coverage and deductibles you carry on your car may apply 鈥?in most cases 鈥?to a vehicle you rent. Be careful. If your policy provides minimum coverage, you may need to calculate the value of the loss or damage of a vehicle like the rental car and decide if you need to supplement it. Your personal insurance may only provide a coverage limit equal to the value of your own vehicle. If the value of your personal vehicle is less than that of the rental vehicle, you could still incur some damage responsibility.
If you decline LDW at the rental counter and rely on your personal coverages, remember, you probably would be responsible for paying your usual deductible. Also, a loss-of-use fee is not normally covered by personal auto insurance policies. (Loss of use is a fee charged by the car rental companies for every day that their vehicle is in repair and can't be rented).
You should also check with your credit card issuer to see if you have any insurance coverage for the rental when you use that card.
If you feel you are not adequately covered for the rental car, in case of damage or theft, through your own insurance or your credit card - you may want to purchase the optional loss damage waiver that is sold by the car rental company.
Full coverage on your car doesn't necessarily cover any other car (including rental cars) that you drive.
The rental comes with basic insurance that cover things that aren't your fault. Think of the extra insurance as collision that will cover things that are your fault.
Needed? No. Good idea? Sometimes. Check with your own insurance to see if you can get rental coverage cheaper.
It's only REALLY needed if you do not have coverage on your personal auto policy that will extend to the rental car. If you do not have coverage on your own car you cannot get a rental car. It's always best to use your own insurance company anyway, if you're in an accident in the rental car and you use their provided insurance then they'll take forever fixing the car and charge you for their loss of use of the vehicle. But yes it's REALLY needed if you don't have insurance
I would ask your insurance agent. They can tell you if your current full coverage insurance covers you while driving a rental car.
Many times your full coverage insurance will cover you while driving a rental. However, the extent of the coverage can vary between insurance companies and policies. Your insurance agent will be able to explain the details.
It is a good idea if you can afford it. I was renting a car and the counter person explained it to me, I reluctantly got the additional insurance, an hour or so later a rock hit my windshield, a small crack, expanded from the top to bottom. Had I not gotten the ins. My insurance would have paid for it after my deductible, which is $250. out of my pocket.
It is a crapshoot gamble.
Whatever coverage (liability, medical, uninsured, comp/collision) you have on your personal car carries over to the rental. If you take the rental coverage, you're really paying twice, and the rental companies love it--it's almost free money!
It is not needed. Whenever you rent a vehicle your full coverage carries over to the rental. This is a scam and this is how rental companies make their money. Don't ever buy it, I never have.
Yes, extra insurance on car rentals is really needed.
Yes its needed, if you wreck the car, you just bought it...

Does anyone know that pay parking/car rental place in downtown Manhattan, NY near Astor Place on Broadway?
From what I know, the car rental lady told me that they don't do credit checks for renting cars. Another question I just realized I need to ask is DO THEY CHECK YOUR DRIVING RECORD? I'm looking to rent a car this Friday, but I don't know if I can. Do you know the name %26amp; phone # of the place I'm talking about? I am not sure what you want to know.
The SNCF Gare de Carcassonne is in the Northwest quadrant of the city.
There is a bus that runs from the train station to the old city. (This bus doesn't run on sunday).
There is a taxi spot marked just outside the entrance to the train station. If you are willing to wait, a taxi will eventually show up.
There are plenty of places to rent cars. Here's the website of one: http://france.rentalcargroup.com/Carcass鈥?/a>

I have been satisfied with Sixt Rent-A-Car, www.sixt.gr but it was for a period of 40 days mid-April-end May; the price was extremely low and the car in perfect condition!
You can find many such companies in Athens, at the airport or in the centre, at the beginning of Syngrou avenue, anyone can tell you how to get there.
But there are many offices renting cars wherever you go, cities and islands mainly though, not mainland villages. Prices are similar everywhere I guess.

you could try asking one of the big rental companies but somehow I doubt it very much ... you might be able to hire a car in Dublin and drop it off at the ferry terminal in N Ireland, then hire another car from the ferry terminal in Scotland and drop it off in Edinburgh ... at least this would save you the cost of the vehicle on the ferry ... usually hire companies charge an extra fee for hiring in one place and dropping it off in another to cover the cost of relocating itCar Rental from Dublin, through N. You are traveling across 3 different countries so you will pay a BIG surcharge, if they let you do it in the first place, which I doubt.

Car rental rates increasing?
Does anyone know why car rental rates are increasing? My family and I went to Orlando last summer and spent about $130 to $140 to rent an Impala for the week. We plan to go back this summer. Everything increased a little (air, hotel, park tickets, etc.), but the car rental rates doubled. This year the rates are averaging about $270.00.
Also, does anyone know of any discount codes that are valid during the month of July? We've been looking on the Internet, but everything expires prior to this month.Car rental rates increasing?
Last year gas was 4 bucks a gallon and people didnt want to rent cars\
Its called law of Supply and DemandCar rental rates increasing?
Try a different rental company, or booking it through your airline. We got cheaper rates through Southwest as opposed to booking just through Avis.
The auto industry is taking a blow - so some cars could be getting more expensive for rental company's to buy, making it more expensive for you? Don't quote me on that one though.
Well a lot of car rental companies are trying to make more money for their cars since not as many people and business's are renting them.
Our money hungary politicans added a daily tax on all rental cars last month. They stole all the toll road money, so they need more.

Short term car rental in Bay area?
Hi,
Is there a short-term car rental (~2-3 months) facility available in San Fransisco Bay area? What would be the approximate cost assuming that I will have to buy insurance as well?
Thanks!!Short term car rental in Bay area?
my company usually uses enterprise rent-a-car for corporate visitors from our canadian office for rentals for 2- 4 months.
checkout their website at enterprise.com and you can search by any type of car and length of rental. When I had been in a car accident and was having my car repaired for two months i had a nissan murano through enterprise that was $47 per day. The longer you rent a car, you can get weekly rates.
And you will need to have insurance to rent a car.Short term car rental in Bay area?

Maui vacation - tips on lodging for seven, car rental, cheap flights, things to do and see in Hawaii?
If you're looking to stay on the western side of Maui, I have a great recommendation for you. We stayed in Kaanapali at the Papakea resort, ours was a rental condo. This worked out being cheaper than a lot of hotels because we cooked a lot of our meals at home. I think we paid $150 per night for four people, in a two bedroom. It had great amenities (full kitchen, studio, 1,2,3 bedroom options, pools, BBQs, tennis courts, ocean front, close to grocery store...). We rented a car from them and they offered the cheapest weekly price.
As far as sightseeing, we found a travel agency in Whaler's Village that offered HEAVILY discounted rates on travel packages (snorkeling, road to Hana tours, luaus, helicopter tours...). The only catch was that we had to sit in on a 90 minute timeshare presentation. The presentation wasn't too bad (free lunch!) because you're able to look at some really great properties...and we were able to go snorkeling for $15 per person and to a great luau for $29 per person! The regular price for each was $99 per person. That's only if you have time to do it.Maui vacation - tips on lodging for seven, car rental, cheap flights, things to do and see in Hawaii?
drive all the way around the west side of the island the views are great. there is also a GREAT banana bread stand called kiki's and it is delicios. then also you msu drive to hana as other people have said. also there is the iao needle/iao valley. that was really beautiful and a VERY short walk. also drive to the top of haleakala. its amazing how the temeraturte changes and it is fun watching hang gliders go off the edge. then there is the hike to the 7pools. i did this a while ago and it was fun. make sure you bring a swim suit so you can enjoy the water!!!then there is hanalua beach and it is a little walk, through a beautiful junge into a GREAT snorkleing bay. also there is kaanapalui beach. it is perfect for everything from cliff diving(i went off and its only like 22feet with high tide) to boogie boarding, and even snorkeling! its my favorite place in the world. then up a little north of that is D.T. Flemming beach. it is perfect for boogie bording, at least in june when i go. i also reccomend eating in lahiana, and shopping there. i also have twice gone parasailing in lahiana and if you like that stuff it was a great veiw!!! they even dip you in the water if you want to. also shopping in whalers village then going out to the beach, its in like south kaanapali i think. also see a luau, and if you already have, like my family, we went to this majic show this last year and it was really fun. if you are interested in scuba diving i was certified there, and it was a great program. i hope that i have helped you!

Luxury car rental in upstate NY?
I am looking to rent a luxury or high end sports car for my wedding in september, most of the companies I have found online only operate in NY City, and would charge an arm and a leg for delivery. Does anyone know of a company that operates in the Albany/Saratoga area that would be interested in renting Vette/Mercedes/Lexus/etc for the weekend?Luxury car rental in upstate NY?

Which Car rental companies offer free mileage, besides BUDGET?
Hi thanks for answering my question, I just wonder because I am renting in the town that I live in, and most car rental companies offer free miles in neighboring states but like 200 free per day or something and then add up, so what have your experiences been in that regard? thanksWhich Car rental companies offer free mileage, besides BUDGET?
One of the prime rules in business is in order to be competitive you must be willing to do anything that your stupidest competitor does, therefore almost all rental car companies offer unlimited mileage.Which Car rental companies offer free mileage, besides BUDGET?
The determining factor is the town or airport. Most locations offer UNLIMITED mileage on all rental companies. Check with the location you are renting from.

Should banks, insurance companies, car rental agencies, etc. be allowed to make a copy of our driver's license
My D.L. has my social security number on it as required by the state. Just seems to make ID theft too easy.Should banks, insurance companies, car rental agencies, etc. be allowed to make a copy of our driver's license
Most states have made dls without the SSN on them. If your license needs to be renewed you will probably get a new number on your dl.
PS Did you know that your SSN is not to be used for identification?Should banks, insurance companies, car rental agencies, etc. be allowed to make a copy of our driver's license

Need a specific car rental shop!?
There probably isn't one, but I was wondering if there was a vintage Volkswagen rental place?
Or even a place that just has classic cars in general, not just Volkswagen.
I live in Phoenix, AZ.Need a specific car rental shop!?
i know of no specific rental place like this . But i have heard of people renting specific cars from private owners i think the one i ma thinking was a ferrari. but i don't know how to go about it maybe check with some car clubs and tell them what your interested in.
I would imagine that it would be costly and they would want a large deposit , insurance etc.

Buying a Used Car. Rental Car vs not rental?
I am looking into a used cars. And The carfax info says it has been owned by a rental company. Are these cars more or less desirable and Why?Buying a Used Car. Rental Car vs not rental?
Prior rentals very desirable because rental companies take much better care of their cars than many private owners. The oil is changed regularly, tires are replaced and balanced as soon as they're needed. And every tire change requires a front end alignment.
Hoses are regularly replaced along with all filters. Brakes are constantly being checked. And every service maintenance required by the manufacturer is done on time.
Many years ago, rentals were the cheapest cars made. They were the bottom of the line models with no options except for an auto trans. The looked cheap, they felt cheap and people drove them into the ground.
But since the 80's rentals are much more reflective of the type of car you own with the same amenities. People drive them easier. And rental companies make sure that every car in their fleet is in its best running condition. They have a lot at stake with their reputation and with liability issues.
So go ahead and buy a prior rental. It's been very well taken care of.Buying a Used Car. Rental Car vs not rental?
I would recommend looking over the rental car very well. Most rental car companies do change the oil but that is it. They hardly ever keep them long enough to change tires and since they don't actually own them they really don't care. (only one that may not count towards is Enterprise since they own a good amount of their cars.)
And reading everyone else's answers I would have to say that everyone believes that rental car companies actually take great care of the cars.
I bought an ex-rental 2005 Chevy Cavalier last summer for my daughter. The car was in perfect condition. Except of course, I had a 4 wheel alignment done it. But then I get that done on every used car I buy.
She has driven the car clear across the continent and for months at grad school without spending a dime for maintenance other than 3 Mobil One oil changes. Its in a lot better shape than her boufriend's Passat of the same age.
I have no qualms about buying an ex-rental car. And few people actually abuse them. I have rented cars many times and always been careful. Most renters are very careful as it is such a horrific hassle to handle the repairs or damage that people drive carefully to avoid it.

Car rental for cross country trip?
I want to drive cross country, but would need to rent a car. does anyone know of any car rental companies that allow from an East coast pick up and a West coast drop off point, without having to return it to its original location?
Also, does anyone know of a good rental car company that wouldn't chare much if I wanted to rent and return for the entire trip (two weeks)?Car rental for cross country trip?
Some car rental companies will rent one-way rentals however they charge a TON of money. If you could rent a car for 2 or 3 days driver it across the country return that car and rent another one for a local rental it would be alot cheaper.Car rental for cross country trip?
You should be able to find something, depending on the dates you're looking for, the size vehicle and the cities for pick up and drop off, but it will be very expensive
I checked, for example a one way from Boston to Los Angeles for a one way rental for two weeks... a compact car was almost $2400
One way rates average between $150 - $250 per day.

Car Rental in UK?
Am planning a road trip around the country, anyone know which is the cheapest (Am under 25) %26amp; most realiable car rental company (MUST offer Navigation system)?
As it's my 1st time renting, any tips on car rental would be great! THANKS!!Car Rental in UK?
Europcar has a great rental system, and they specialise in European cars and Europe, so quality should be no issue. Sat nav should and most likely will be an option on the more expensive models (well your not going to get it on an Astra).

Can anyone recommend an affordable car rental agency in boston?
Budget tends to have the best deals, but rates vary widely from company to company, and location to location. Your best bet is to get a baseline price from Travelocity/Expedia, then go to a few individual rental car company sites and see if you can beat the price (don't forget to look for coupon codes first - www.neotravel.com seems to have most available coupon codes). As a last ditch effort, check out Hotwire and Priceline, too. I use Hotwire all the time, and love it.Can anyone recommend an affordable car rental agency in boston?
Check orbitz.com, you'll usually find good deals there.
Also check out travelzoo for very very good specials that pop up pretty regularly.
The past few years, Hertz actually has become the most expensive. Though if you time it right (on the weekend, you might be able to take advantage of Hertz local edition which used to be about $10/day over the weekend, but I think is now up to $20/day).
Best of luck and have fun!Can anyone recommend an affordable car rental agency in boston?
We rented our vehicle through Priceline.com and saved about $15-20 a day. We were renting a mini-van and it ended up being through Alamo.
Good luck!
Dollar Rental is by far the cheapest, but if you have AAA then you can get good discounts through Hertz.

Not to discourage you bud, but I wish people would stop depending on credit cards to give you discounts on airfare, hotels or car rentals. I bought a book that shows you how to get these mentioned above for a low price.
Check out http://www.myairfaressecrets.com they REALLY show you how to get cheap airfare without the need to accumulate like 100,000,000 points.

Is there CAR RENTAL for under 21's?
Im 18 and looking for car rental, is there such thing as car rental for under 21's as all i can see online is ';must be over 21/23 etc?
please help me!Is there CAR RENTAL for under 21's?
Sorry, most rental agencies require a renter to be at least 21 years old. Some of the largest renters require that you be 23-25 and charge a special fee if you are under 23. I had the same problem when I was that age. It sucks that the time in your life when you are most able to travel and see the world, companies make it harder or at the very least more expensive to do so.Is there CAR RENTAL for under 21's?
Yes - but options are limited. The states of New York and Minnesota require all car rental companies to rent to anyone over 18. If you are on active military or government orders all major car rental companies will rent to you. EZ rent a car and Rent a Wreck will rent to 18 year olds in some locations. If none of these options are available try local rental companies or you could consider truck rental. Many of the truck rental places such as penske will rent to 18 year olds.
na sorry you got to be over 21 cos otherwised your classed as an inexperienced driver. I've had the same troubles, beleive me no one will hire out to you. Your going to have to just take a bus or something. I know, it sucks, especially when you are on holiday, but its just the way it is.

try the airport in that local area, if there is one close by or if you are flying into NC, you'll be at the airport and they can provide rental cars at any hour. You might want to call ahead to that local airport or you could call a highly known hotel/motel and ask them for a suggestion they might offer a solution.

Which car rental company is your favorite and why?
I am trying to decide which company I should get a corporate account from.Which car rental company is your favorite and why?
Well, my husband is the manager at the Enterprise rent a car at the Jacksonville, FL airport %26amp; I know that he bends over backwards to make sure his customers are completely satisfied %26amp; makes sure all his employees do as well.Which car rental company is your favorite and why?
Enterprise!!! Nice cars %26amp; very reasonable!!!!
The cheapest that offers the deal. Check Dollar Rent a car. Avis has good deals as well. Much depends if you are traveling often to expensive cities, ie NYC, LA, SF, Boston etc.
I prefer Avis because they have unlimited mileage and great customer service. I also hear their group discounts and corporate accounts are great too.
I agree with dobiegang Enterprise is the one I use. I like the idea of them picking you up also If you need a ride after dropping it back off they will do that also.
Hertz - Always had great service from their gold program.

For Car Rental with Budget Car rental?
If I pick up a car in San Jose CA and drive to San Diego can I drop it off and leave it in San Diego at another Budget location? If so is there a fee? Thank you!For Car Rental with Budget Car rental?
Their website says:
Can I pick up at one location and return at another?
Yes – and you won't believe how easy we make it! With our convenient and affordable one-way rentals from participating airport, downtown and suburban locations across the U.S., you have the freedom to rent in one place and return in another – often with unlimited mileage. Drive from coast to coast and choose from more than 600 participating U.S. corporate-operated locations at airport and off-airport sites. Not only that, but the longer you rent, the lower your daily rates. Reserve your one-way rental online today by simply deselecting the ';I'll return car to pick-up location'; check box and entering a different return location than your pick-up location. (TIP: If you’re quoted a price-per-mile charge in the rate summary of the online reservation tool, and don’t see a mention of “unlimited mileage,” it means that the locations you've selected don't participate in the unlimited mileage one-way program.)
NOTE: If you choose to return the car to a different location than the one on your reservation, please contact Budget reservation agent at 800-527-7000 as some return restrictions may apply. If you do not contact us before returning your car you'll be charged a minimum $45 Unauthorized Return Location fee. This fee may be higher based on the distance between the renting location and the return location specified on your reservation. Additionally, a different or higher rate may apply. For Car Rental with Budget Car rental?
There are fees for one way rentals that vary from company to company and will depend on where you pick up the car and where you return it. You're best to check the one way pricing options on the budget website. Just put in San Jose for pick up and return to get a price... and then change the return location to San Diego and get a price quote.. that way you can tell the difference in the one way rate.
Hope this helps

Factors to consider to establish a car rental business?
If this is meant as a real estate question than there is really only one factor to consider: Zoning. If you planned location doesn't allow for a business of this type you will either need to get a variance or find a different locationFactors to consider to establish a car rental business?

Will Ford let car rental companies rent the new Fusion?
I don't see why not. Rental companies don't rent/lease cars from the manufacturers; they actually buy them in ';fleet'; quantity. Companies will strike deals with specific car makers who will give them volume discounts. Ford has a relationship with a couple of rental companies, so it seems logical that the Fusion will eventually be rentable. Will Ford let car rental companies rent the new Fusion?
Let them? Car rental companies buy these cars so you cant stop them! Then after a set mileage sell them used nad make even more money!

Should I get car rental?
I recently got into an accident where the car at fault ramed into my car's right side. The right mirror is dangling by a wire, the hood cannot be completely closed and whatever hidden damages there might be. There was police and witness, the other drive was cited and it was totally his fault. My car moves, but is it considered ';drivable'; still? Reason asking is I want to make sure I can get reimbursed by the party at fault's insurance carrier for car rental before I can send my car to the shop. I did not purchase car rental coverage from my carrier and they could not give me a 100% definite answer that they can get the reimbursement for me from the other carrier. I need to get a car to be able to commute to work...Should I get car rental?
Legally the other companie would have to pay for a rental for you, when your car is in the shop. Now if it is considered drivable now, but you dont feel safe driving it because of the hood, and etc, then they still should have to give you one. I would recommed getting one on your own, if you dont want to have to end up being stuck with the bill. I would wait and talk to the other persons insurance company first.. Sounds almost like your going thru your own insurance, and in that case the other company should still be able to pay for your rental, or find a shop that has free loaner veh's.Should I get car rental?
If the accident was the other drivers fault and his insurance company is paying for your repairs, the cost of the rental is part of the total cost of repairs.
Insist on a rental car, they have to pay. The hitch is they may not pay 100%. They may only pay (for example) $30 a day for 5 days. So you need to work with them, but getting a rental car is part of the insurance settlement.

yes you can i rented a lotus convertible from these guys for my prom next month: www.xoticdreamcars.com, you have to be 18 and have your own insurance policy with like allstate or statefarm that extends to the rental in case of an accident. as long as you have insurance you can rent from them. i imagine that other places must do the same but you just need to search, i been calling places for like a week.
I think you will have to drive your dad's old clunker, since no rental company will rent to an 18 year old.

Is there any car rental places that let you lease cars?
Sure if you want to pay the daily rates! They will sell their cars after so many miles however they don't usually lease them directly. You could find a leasing agency to lease one through if you choose.

Car Rental in the USA?
I want to rent a car in the US, I am over 25 but I haven't had my licence for more than one year. Would this be a problem. Most car rental places seem to be concerned with age rather than the time you have been driving.
HELP!Car Rental in the USA?
Not a problem at all as long as your license is valid and clean. You are no more of a risk to them than any other renter. Be sure to buy insurance coverage if you're not already covered. Don't risk having to pay for damage, theft. etc.
SLI(supplemental liability insurance) and LDW(loss damage waiver). Don't know how much. Call the rental company. My guess would be an additional $10-$15 for LDW per day.

Do anyone know of any car rental places that rent stick shift cars?
In this case you would have to cantact the individual rental agency, because on rare occasions they do have them. 99.99% of the time it will be an auto, the reason is they realize not everyone knows how or wants to drive a stick so they tend to purchace cars they know ';everyone can rent';Do anyone know of any car rental places that rent stick shift cars?

Has anyone ever used Maui Car Rentals Inc. for a rental car?
No. I use Dollar, Thrifty, Enterprise, and Hertz on Maui. Thrifty is most likely to try and put me in a van. Enterprise is in town, just a few blocks from Queen Kaahumanu Shopping Center. Hertz is more expensive, and Dollar is very efficient. I choose my company depending on what I'm doing on Maui.

Weekend trip to San Francisco - Car rental?
Is a rental car a definite need if making a weekend trip to San Fran? I've never been so I have no idea if it is easy and cheap enough to get around without or if having a car would be a pain.
Also, what are some recommendations for things to do while in town for a 3-day weekend with my wife for our anniversary?Weekend trip to San Francisco - Car rental?
If you are in SF for a weekend you are better off WITHOUT a rental car. Hotel parking is very expensive [$25 and up], street parking is a pain, and the hills and many one way streets can make driving hell for out of towners.
Public transportation is good. You can purchase a 3 day pass that is good for all transport in SF, cable cars, trollys, buses and light rail.
http://www.sfmuni.org
Make sure you get out on the bay [ferry to sausalito, angel island or alcatraz] or one of the bay cruises. Great views of The City and the bridges. Also quite romantic. Be sure to bring a jacket it is always cold on the bay.
Congratulations on your anniversary.Weekend trip to San Francisco - Car rental?
a car is definitely convenient, but not necessary. San Francisco has a great public transportation system with tons of street buses, underground subway, and etc... you can buy day passes to ride the muni or it costs $1.50 for a ride and you can get off and on as many times as you want for i believe 90 minutes. then you have to pay again.
Some fun things to do in San Francisco include Fishermans warf, Lombard st., Coit tower, Ghirardelli square. these are all within the same area.
Golden Gate bridge, alcatraz, Union Square and the list goes on.
I recently visited San Francisco.. found it was fairly easy to get around, trolleys, cabs.. that sort of thing. I think it depends on what kind of things you were looking to do.
I would rent a car next time, only for the fact that I would like to do a little more exploring outside city limits!!
Definately take a ride on the trolley, althought the line is usually HUGE, even in the mornings, China town is great as well, tons of funky foods to try and also the fortune cookie factory!
It really depends what you want to do. If you're staying in the city and doing touristy things, public transportation would be fine.
If you want to drive across the Golden Gate Bridge and visit the northern area, you'll definitely want a rental.
The public transportation is great in San Francisco. They have daily passes, and most buses, cable cars, and trolleys go to all the tourist spots. Avoid taxis, they can run into some $$$$.
The car would be a pain because of parking space and cost.. It is more romantic to use the BART and Trolley...

Enterprise is your best bet. They are the cheapest for underage drivers. They just recently changed to restricted ages. I rented a few from Enterprise when I was underage and when I returned the cars in their normal condition, they didn't charge me the extra amount. I'm not saying they won't charge the extra, but it's possible.

Cheap hotel & car rental in LA or Ontario CA?
We're going to the Rose Bowl Parade on New Years Day and will be flying from Mpls to LA or Ontario CA. Are there reasonable hotels and car rentals?Cheap hotel %26amp; car rental in LA or Ontario CA?
You must consider that the Rose Parade is ';THE'; event of the year in the Pasadena area so the local hotels / motels take advantage of it. You would probably find more reasonable lodging staying a few miles away and driving (or taking a bus) to the parade.
Rental car rates are competitive, but Enterprise is usually one of the less expensive.
LAX will is usually a lower air fare than Ontario, but Ontario (ONT) is easier, and more convenient to use. From Ontario you would just take the westbound I-10, to Ca-57 north, to I-210 west to Pasadena.
PS: Please leave the ';Lutefisk'; in Minneapolis. It tastes like boiled foam rubber.Cheap hotel %26amp; car rental in LA or Ontario CA?
Well, if you fly into LAX you might try Enterprise, I have had good luck with them. Avis and Hertz are good but they are toooo popular and the lines (even the ';Express'; lines) are way too long, esp. if a lot of flights come in at one time with people wanting cars..
Don't know any hotels in Pasadena, except the Four Seasons which is one the top rated hotels in the city if you want to splurge...it may already be booked...
What is reasonable to you? I would look at Thrifty, Budget, or Enterprise for a car rental. Hotels are in the eye of the beholder. You can go for Motel Hell(I mean Six) or shop online for a better deal. Try http://www.sidestep.com
If you're trying to keep within a budget try this site
http://www.cheaphotels-rates.com
I've had good luck with them in the past
Hope it helps!
When I shopped car rentals in South California from LAX and San Jose, I found some great deals with Fox Rental Cars.
For hotels, you could always check hotels.com or priceline.com
I imagine it'll be a hard time of year to find to good of deals, so you might figure out what you need and want and make some phone calls.

Car dealership - Car rental price/requirements?
I did some research and car rentals companies charge at least 50$/day, which is very expensive.
So, I was wondering what about car dealerships (ex: Ford, Honda...).Car dealership - Car rental price/requirements?
enterprise only charged me 29 a day, and that's including tax and everything. there are different 'classes' of cars, you could probably get a lower rate by going to a smaller car.web development

If the law requires car manual in car rental?
No, or else every rental car ive ever been in has broken the law! Car manuals are not required for a rental. You dont need to know how to change the oil or replace a fuse!If the law requires car manual in car rental?
Huh? What are you trying to ask? Rephrase the question and try again! If the law requires car manual in car rental?
No, there are no laws requiring an owner's manual. If you have a question about how to use the radio or install a child safety seat, consult your rental agent. They are not included with your rental because people are more tempted to do ';mantienence'; or steal them.

Can i use a rental car insurance in place of full coverage on my car when renting a car from a car rental
i want to rent a car for the week to go out of town. I am 23 so i need to have full coverage insurance. Can i use Rental car insurance that allows 35,000 loss and damage waiver substitute not having full coverage on my own car?Can i use a rental car insurance in place of full coverage on my car when renting a car from a car rental
I never buy it but Yes, you can buy and use the rental cars insurance in lieu of your own. It is expensive but in certain circumstances it may be the wise thing to do.Can i use a rental car insurance in place of full coverage on my car when renting a car from a car rental
I always use the rental companies insurance instead of my own insurance. If you have an accident over thaqt amount of coverage, you were doing something wrong.

Car Rental co. asking for Accident Report after 3 months I rented the car saying I acknowledged damage?
I got a mail from car rental co. saying that I have acknowledged damage to vehicle during course of my rental, please complete Accident Report and fax. If no response received in 48 hours a letter will be sent via US mail.
Facts:
Car Rented 87 days back
During the rental car tyre got flat and called the rental co. and they sent AAA to solve the problem
Now the rental co. saying ';Vehicle Damage : LEFT FRONT RIM %26amp; TIRE - LEFT FENDER';
what should i do just ignore the mail or what to reply them?Car Rental co. asking for Accident Report after 3 months I rented the car saying I acknowledged damage?
You should reply to them - otherwise they may just repair the vehicle and send you the repair estimate, and you may be liable for the damages. If you explain the situation - tire got a flat, they may not hold you liable - as it may be a maintenance issue which the rental car company is responsible for.Car Rental co. asking for Accident Report after 3 months I rented the car saying I acknowledged damage?
Don't ignore it. Send them a letter that the tire had gone flat, that you notified them, that they sent AAA to change the flat, that you didn't see any damage after they changed the tired, not was any damage noted when you returned to vehicle to them, and any damage now existing may be the fault of a subsequent renter, or the provider they sent, but in either case you do not accept liability for it.
Definitely don't admit anything. They should have looked over the car when you returned it for any damage. Never ignore a problem either....most of them won't go away on their own.

Any car rental places in md that would let an 18 yr old drive?
it's for my promAny car rental places in md that would let an 18 yr old drive?
No, most rental places will not rent to anyone under age 25, a few will allow you to rent if you are 21 with a restriction of the cars you can rent and a daily surcharge. None of them will rent to an 18 year old.Any car rental places in md that would let an 18 yr old drive?
there may be one-or two- but it will cost a ridiculous amount. it may be cheaper to rent a limo! and don't have an older friend rent it and hand you the keys-if they find out, they will CHARGE!!!!!!!

What happens if you book a plane ticket with a car rental but do not use the rental??
I booked a plane tocket via travelocity as a last minute deal with a car rental. What happens if I do not use the car rental? What happens if you book a plane ticket with a car rental but do not use the rental??
Usually the terms of the agreement specify that you will either pay the full the fee for the car rental, or some largish portion of it.What happens if you book a plane ticket with a car rental but do not use the rental??
Depends on the original agreement and any restrictions and what venue you pruchased the ticket for example Priceline would have a different agreement. Some have a concellation policy but it has to be in a certain time frame. Other than that you are limited.
You most likely will not get your money back, if you are lucky you might get some kind of refund but you can also request a voucher/credit to use the rental another time. And if you have any frequent traveler relationship they may be more willing to work with you
They'll likely try to make you pay for it and threaten you if you don't. Travel companies are terrible for this.
In December I booked a holiday to Ibiza in May and decided not to go so I phoned up and told them I wanted to cancel. I didn't care about the 拢50 I'd paid as a deposit but they said I'd have to pay the full holiday price as a cancellation fee.
I refused, they threatened me with their debt collectors. I said go on then call your debt collectors. That was 3 Months ago still waiting to hear from them.
Main point, travel companies use bullying and every other tactic in the book to try and get money out of you.
Don't give them any more money, but if you've already paid in full for the car rental, you're probably too late.
Dude its not looking good for you... ill try to sell ticket and buy new one if prices are better?
Hey at least you wont have to buy petrol ;)
I think if you don't use it, they won't give you your money back. They assume you just missed the pickup date.
If you don't use the car rental, you're just out the money!
Sorry.

Is There Free Rental Car Rentals?
I am a traveler for a living and stay in hotels and rent cars all the time... Now in some motels if you stay a couple days they will give you a free night stay... Is that the same with rental cars??? If I rent a certain amount of rental cars do I get free days???Is There Free Rental Car Rentals?
You may need to become a member of a ';frequent renter'; program to get that kind of deal. My dad travels a lot on business, so he is a member of Hertz #1 Club Gold. The fee is $60 per year for that program. I'm not saying you have to use Hertz, just stating my personal knowledge. The other option would be to look at coupons in Entertainment books or AAA discounts, if you are a member of AAA. The Entertainment book will have discounts for most major car rental companies. The Entertainment book is about $30, so if you get it just for the car rental discounts, then it's probably not worth it, as there are only a certain number of discount coupons available. Is There Free Rental Car Rentals?
Its all about the way its marketed ... they may say that something is free but its not. You have to calculate the total product and service and do some good ol fashion shopping around.

Which car rental places offer GPS systems for rent?
Many of the top rental agencies have GPS, for example:
Budget -- where2 GPS
Hertz -- NeverLost system
Avis - Where2 GPS
Alamo - Garmin StreetPilot GPS
But check with the agency or their website before you go, as not everyone offers GPS yet. And remember, it does cost extra to rent.

A car rental company charges a flat fee of $21.50 and an hourly charge of $14.50......?
This means that cost is a function of the hours the car is rented plus the flat fee.
a) Write this relationship in equation form.
b) Find the cost if the car is rented for 2.5 hours.
c) Determine how long the car was rented if the bill came to $250.
d) Determine the domain and range of the function in this context: your budget limits you to paying a maximum of $210 for the rental.A car rental company charges a flat fee of $21.50 and an hourly charge of $14.50......?
This is rather basic...
To begin, you need to take a look at what info the problem is sharing...
1.) The constant charge is 21.50... even if you rent it for 1 hour, 1day or 1 year, you pay a set 21.50.
2.) The Hourly charge is 14.50 so that is your VARIABLE H and it is the RATE of Change.
a.) The relationship would be:
$14.50h + $21.50= Price to Rent Car
b.) $14.50 (2.5) + 21.50 =
$36.25+$21.50= $57.75
c.) $14.50h + $21.50 = $250.00
$14.50h = $228.50
h =15h and 45 minutes
d.) $14.50h + $21.50 = $210.00
$14.50h = $188.50
h = 13 hrs so the range would be 0-13 hrs.A car rental company charges a flat fee of $21.50 and an hourly charge of $14.50......?
A = Cost = 21.50 + 14.50 x X
B = 21.50 + 14.50 x 2.5 = 57.75
C = 250 - 21.50 =228.50 then 228.50/14.5 = 15.75 hours
D = 210 - 21.50 = 188.50 to spend hourly, 188.50/14.5 = 13 hours
a. Let x = hours
Cost = 21.50 + 14.50 x
b. if the car is rented for 2.5 hours, so x=2.50
Cost = 21.50 + 14.50 (2.50)
= 57.75
c. cost = 250 = 21.50 + 14.50x
x = 15.7 hours
d. domain = 210 - 21.50 = 188.50
range of hours = 188.50 / 14.50 = 13 hrs

Not sure about near, but there are rental agencies that will come and get you. Try Mohamed's Car rentals. He has good cars at reasonable prices. He's located in Belleville, St Michael, which isn't too far from town (or the pier).
Car rental - taxes on rewards redemption?
I am redeeming some of my accumulated rewards points to rent a car from Alamo. They say that I still have to pay taxes, even though I am using rewards points to rent the car. Is that right?Car rental - taxes on rewards redemption?
That sounds right. Most rewards and/or coupons state in the terms and conditions that the value or money off applies to ';time and mileage charges'; only. That means that you still have to pay any taxes or surcharges over and above the base rate of the rental car itself. Double check the terms and conditions of your rewards offer to see what the restrictions are.

Best good value car rental company for June in NZ south island?

for approx 3 weeks in june 08Best good value car rental company for June in NZ south island?
Coming from someone that has worked in that industry, I have to ask if you are wanting multinational brands with new fleet and nationwide coverage or a local one with slightly older fleet?
If you are going to go with one of the big 5 (Budget, Hertz, Avis, Thrify, Europcar) they are all very similar in their cars and service, however Budget is the cheapest and best value with brand new vehicles and multiple branches nationwide.
If you're on a more strict budget, I would reccommend one of the small players such as Apex or NZ Car hire. You also need to see if they allow things such as one-way hires and have airport locations etc.

Just booked a car rental in Orlando. Original cost: $215. After insur: $451.How can I minimize insurance fees?
What's the bare-bone insurance I really need t'have? I'm traveling with wife and 2 kids. AmEx covers CDW only.Just booked a car rental in Orlando. Original cost: $215. After insur: $451.How can I minimize insurance fees?
You may need only damage waiver and liability. Uninsured motorist protection or personal effects protection is up to you. It's best to check with your own insurance company to see if they cover a rental vehicle, and best to ask them if they cover Loss of Use (revenue lost due to time taken getting rental vehicle fixed). Most car rental companies have tiered coverage fees...they may say their vehicle coverage is $15/day and covers up to $100,000, but ask them when you get to the counter if they have $10/day that covers, lets say, just up to $50,000...my advice, take their rental coverage because you wouldn't have to file with your insurance if something happens...Just booked a car rental in Orlando. Use your own Insurance. My company, USAA, will insure me when I rent a car, so I don't have to take their insurance. It is highway robery!!! Ha ha!

Figline Valdorna, great authentic Italian restaurants close? How about car rental?Where is the best nightlife?!?
Any help is appreciated, I am going June 1st till June 11th and staying in a cool villa, thanksFigline Valdorna, great authentic Italian restaurants close? How about car rental?Where is the best nightlife?!?
I live in the region and I know pretty well Figline Valdarno.
The town is rather small and to have really a good nightlife you need to go either to Florence (abt 30 kms= 20 miles) or to Arezzo (abt 55 kms = abt. 34 miles). I don't know for sure but I guess you cannot rent a car over there. All the rent-a-car companies are located in the airports and then you can rent a car where you land (Rome,Florence,Pise, etc.) and bring back to the airport from where you'll fly back.
In the region all the restaurant are good; it's mostly depending on your taste and what you want to eat.
If you're looking for the real Tuscan cooking you need to avoid the bis restaurants and go instead to the small ';trattoria'; that are practically everywhere. The best you can do there is to ask the waiter (or the owner, that very often are the same person) what is their specialty. Follow their suggestions (also for the wine) and you'll taste the Paradise.
However I remember 2 restaurants in that area where I've eated time ago.The first is the ';Antica trattoria del Burchio'; and is located a bit out of Figline. The other one is ';Antica Taverna Casa grande';. I've never been there but a friend of mine told me about another good restaurant still in Figline and if I well remember is ';Osteria delle volte'; (or something very close).
I wish it helps.

I always use Alamo and have never had any problems. The cars are always clean and full of fuel.Who is best car rental at Mia or ORL airport?
ok. i always have good prices with Dollar.Who is best car rental at Mia or ORL airport?
I would say alamo to! very easy and fast. I used the selt check kiosk when I was there over Thanksgiving and I was done before the person who used a sales rep. I use them everytime.
At Orlando (which is MCO not ORL), Alamo is usually the least expensive and has the least restrictions.

Are there any car rental companies (around Minneapolis) that rent to 18 year olds (with or without extra fee)?
(( and allow it to be taken out of state )) thanks! Are there any car rental companies (around Minneapolis) that rent to 18 year olds (with or without extra fee)?
You are just going to have to get the phone book and start calling places. I was in the car rental industry for years and although I worked in another state our rules were the same where ever we were. I know that most of the c ar rental companies will not rent to anyone under the age of 25 and those that do charge minimum of $25 per day.
You may have better luck with a local place.

What does ( ...no birds) mean for bayswater car rental?
we have all seen the ads in sydney papers, the girl with the cap, now the long legs
what does ... no birds MEANWhat does ( ...no birds) mean for bayswater car rental?
';We are asked this question several times a day.
People have offered theories such as:
no worries (a real Aussie expression, as in 'no worries, mate')
no bird poo on the cars
no hassles
no women allowed to drive our cars (as if!)
no 'lemons'
'avis' is Latin for birds therefore ';no birds';
This is the real story...
30 years ago the large (and expensive) Rental Car Companies used young women to advertise their brands and deliver cars to clients. With our cut price rates we could never afford to offer these services, so we light heartedly used the tag ';鈥o birds'; to demonstrate our point of difference. Therefore, after all these years, having seen the logo on hundreds of cars over the years, many people know us as No Birds Car Rental.';

Note: In Australian slang a ';Bird'; is a young woman. What does ( ...no birds) mean for bayswater car rental?
Re: askers post: ... and you could have googled the link in as much time as it took for me cut and past it. Note: Yahoo answers is not just to answer your question, but to help others as well. This question is bound to be asked again - hence the quote.
it means that they are a cheap car rental place, with out all the frills ect that go with it
they have been using that gimmick for quite a few years now, i have never checked out there prices
even though i live in Perth as i dont need to rent, how ever if you hire you would have to get a taxi
from the airport to pick it up and return it, unless some one drove you from the airport, it is not far but by taxi it would be, other cars you can rent that you pick up from the airport
like Hertz
It means you have to catch a taxi from Airport to Bayswater Car Rental Company to collect your hire car, this saves you heaps of $$$$$$$$ as there isnt a sexy young girl to deliver your car to airport.
The rental company is on Guilford Rd not far from Terminal.
Enjoy your cheaper car rental!

Car rental from LA to Las Vegas?
Hi, i'm looking to save a little bit of cash by renting a car in Los Angeles, dropping it off in Las Vegas, then flying back to LA. ( i hate the drive back from vegas!) Has anyone ever done this? Which company/ website can i do this on? Thanks everyoneCar rental from LA to Las Vegas?
Any rental company will accommodate you.
You pay a higher rate when you leave a car at a place other than the pick up. Could only be 10-20 dollars.
You could leave it at the hotel or have to drive to the rentail return on Gillespie and take the bus to the airport.
So you can do this easily.
